Girls SPI Nashik is a Services Preparatory Institute that aims to motivate and prepare young girls to join the Defence Services. It provides personalized coaching for the UPSC (NDA) written examination and prepares candidates for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews.

Girls SPI Nashik was established in [year of establishment] with the aim of encouraging young girls from Maharashtra to join the Armed Forces as officers.

Girls SPI Nashik is located at the Formerly Military Boys Hostel, Opposite Government Milk Dairy, Near Patrakar Colony, Trimbak Road, Nashik-422002.

The fee structure includes boarding charges, security deposit, college fees (for 11th and 12th class), and other cadet expenditures. Boarding charges are a sum decided by the Government of Maharashtra, currently Rs.3000/- per month.

If a cadet withdraws from Girls SPI Nashik after joining, the complete fees once paid will not be refunded, and a penalty will be imposed at the time of departure.

Admission to Girls SPI Nashik is through a written test and interview. The written test includes mathematics and a general ability test. The qualified candidates are then interviewed by the Interviewing Board/Selection Committee.

Girls SPI Nashik is headed by a Director who is a retired Armed Forces Officer of the rank of Lt Colonel and above or equivalent ranks of the Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.

To be eligible for admission to Girls SPI Nashik, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
Domicile of Maharashtra State/Bider/Belgaum/Karwar
Unmarried female candidates
Born within the dates mentioned in the annual advertisement Studying in 10th standard with English, Physics, Chemistry (or General Science), and Mathematics as subjects Minimum of 60% marks in VII, VIII, and IX examinations

Candidates must meet the following physical standards:
Height: 152 cm
Weight: 43 kg
Eye sight: 6/6 in a distant vision chart with better eye and 6/9 in worse eye, with specific criteria for myopia, hypermetropia, and color blindness
Good binocular vision and ability to recognize red and green colors

Girls SPI Nashik focuses on training cadets to become good military leaders. The training includes academics, physical training and games, development of moral fiber, preparation for the SSB interview, and overall personality development.

The daily routine includes activities like PT/drill, morning assembly, breakfast, college classes, spare time, tea/snacks, games, SPI classes, dinner, self-study, and lights off. On Sundays, there are extra UPSC classes in the morning, and cadets are given an out pass later on.

The Government appoints the Governing Body (GB) to oversee the functioning of Girls SPI Nashik. The institute has a dedicated and experienced staff, most of whom are retired personnel from the Armed Forces, who look after the training, discipline, and welfare of the cadets at all times. They ensure a homely and caring atmosphere for girl students.
